Superbowl 2005!

We had a wonderful superbowl party. We had a big group - Doris, Bob and Donna came over at the beginning of the game. Shirley, Jon and Dylan and Andy came along a couple of hours later, followed shortly by Kathy and Jonathan.

Erik laid out the field over our white carpeting...

... and we picked the teams (adults versus kids)...

We ate! There were hot chicken wings, quesadillas, nachos, chips, salsa, dips, vegetables, more dip, fruit, sodas, beer and wine....

Then for dinner we had New England Pot Roast sandwiches (had the game turned out differently, we would have been eating Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches...) followed by delicious chocolate cake.

After the game we awarded the coveted Superbowl rings... the kid's team beat the adult's team so they went away with the rings!

And we finished off the evening with cake!

We all had fun - a win for Zentdinners!

Did you have two different dinners ready--"just in case?"

Well, it turns out that New England Pot Roast Sandwiches and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches contain a lot of the same ingredients... and I made a guess as to which team was going to win... but it would have been an easy switch midway had there been a change in score!
